A wonderful Bordeaux from an excellent property right up at the northern tip of the Médoc. The Château is run by two of the grandsons of Marc Pagès, Frédéric Le Clerc and Benjamin Richer des Forges and a particular characteristic of the Chateau is a significant stock of more mature vintages, which are perfect for drinking now! The blend is made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot and is fermented in traditional foudres with a 4-week cuvaison. This is then followed by 16 months in new to 3-year old barriques.
