Chianti Classico San Felice 2023, DOCG Tuscany, Italy

Smart Chianti Classico from the stunning San Felice estate in Castelnuovo Baradenga, 30 miles south east of Florence. A blend of mainly Sangiovese with a drop of Colorino and their trademark Pugnitello to add a bit of kick. It’s generous and lifted with a warming cranberry spicy nose, fresh red cherry and bramble fruit characters on the palate and fine tannins. It feels polished, balanced and accessible, one of those wines that's always impressive.
