Seriously Cool Chenin Blanc 2025, Stellenbosch, South Africa

A bright and expressive Chenin partly from 30–40-year-old bush-vines in the cool, coastal Heldeberg area of Stellenbosch, then further enlivened with exceptional fruit from Waterkloof’s own windswept, regenerative vineyard directly in front of the Atlantic. 2025 was a hallmark vintage. Fermentation and long lees contact in concrete eggs and older barrels gives a lightly honeyed wine of underlying structure and richness, offset by a lovely freshness. A wine befitting of its name!
