Teia Malbec by Bodega Lagarde 2024, Mendoza, Argentina

Deep in Mendoza's wine country sits Bodegas Lagarde. Founded in 1897 it is now directed by sisters Sofía and Lucila Pescarmona, who continue to maintain the tradition of creating high-quality wines from Lagardes own vineyards. This Malbec (85%) and Petit Verdot (15%) blend has aromatic notes of ripe raspberries and blueberries introduce a wine of considerable depth. The fruit character remains elegantly defined throughout, culminating in a polished finish that emphasises the wine's natural fruit-forward character.
